Imagine a gorgeous mid-summer day in Greer, AZ. Perfect weather, not to hot, & just cool enough to calm the nerves. That’s how Kim & Michael started their wedding day at the beautiful three story log cabin that is the Red Setter Inn.
Red Setter, Arizona's Riverside Retreat is a prime location for weddings in the scenic White Mountains of Arizona. Located near the full running Little Colorado River, a bountiful monsoon season is to thank for the sounds of running water, & the prosperous forest landscape. Capturing this day’s simplistic charm with Kodak Portra film, on a Pentax 645n camera was all too easy in a setting such as this.
A more traditional wedding with baby’s breath & white roses guiding this couple down the aisle. Roses were also used in Kim’s bouquet, tied simply with a white ribbon. In combination with her sweetheart neck, A-line gown, and a light sprinkling of beading on the bodice; this couple enjoyed stolen kisses amongst the towering pines.
Kim and Michael were married by local minister Matt Gapson. Their delicious cake was crafted by Carole’s Creations in Snowflake, and the flowers were arranged by another Snowflake company, Silver Creek Flowers. Wedding planner Shaneen Elefante, and DJ Lance Grey of White Mountain DJ finished off the unsalable, making this elegant wedding possible.
Michael, a contractor, is a very lucky man to have Kim, a school teacher, as his new wife!
