Torreon Golf Wedding | Audrey & Trevor | Pentax 645n Kodak Portra Film

May 27, 2015

Audrey and Trevor grew up in Arizona and loved vacationing in the Northern part of the state called the White Mountain's. With college and work they both ended up moving to Seattle, but knew they wanted their wedding to take place back in the cool pines of Show Low, Arizona. They choose the Torreon Golf Club as their wedding location as it offered the couple the tall trees of the forest along with the water falls, and lush green grass as a perfect backdrop for their wedding. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, and on this day it rained, snowed, and wind blew; however an hour before the start of the ceremony the sky's opened up, the sun came out, and their fairy tail wedding came true!

Images created on a Pentax 645n with a Pentax 645 FA 80-160mm f4.5 lens, using Kodak Portra 400 120 and Ilford 3200 B&W films.

What an amazing vendor team for this wedding in Show Low Arizona.

Gary and Dennis' wedding took place in their beautiful central Phoenix home in late April under a gray clouds filled with happiness and joy for two hearts. The amazing David Twigger of Vermilion Events transformed the their backyard into one of the most itimate ceremony locations I have experienced in years! Over head lights, comfy couches for guests to enjoy, and a party atmosphere no mater the weather! Shot with Kodak Portra 400 film in both 135 and 120/645 formats using Canon EOS 3, and Pentax 645n cameras. ENJOY!

Kendra & Cody's Engagement | Pinetop, Arizona | Expired Fuji Superia 200 film | Canon EOS 3

May 06, 2015

As the "Film Cowboy" of Arizona people bring me old, out of date film hoping I can use it... Well I use it and I love the look!

Preston Mayon gave me a few rolls of Fuji Superia 200 in 35mm/24 exp. I rated the film at 50iso in my Canon EOS 3 and used a Canon 50mm 1.8 at f2.0. The crew at @oldschoolphotolab processed the film as normal.

Here is a sample of 8 year old film!! Enjoy!
